MACAU!!

Eric and I went to Macau today to activate his work visa! Caught the ferry at 12:30 this afternoon and stayed till about 6 tonight. We mainly just walked around the casinos and grabbed a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe. But the FIRST thing we did was go to the CotaiExpo to see the Titanic exhibit! :) We saw it on the bus ride to the Venetian and had to check it out. It was way worth it. Not to mention entertainment here is so cheap! They had the body exhibit and the Titanic exhibit for $15 or both for $20...riiiiiidiculous :)

We took a whole lot of pictures from today, Macau was really fun and was really pretty..buuuuut we love Hong Kong so we decided to come back..haha. Got off the MTR and finally visited the bar downstairs from our apartment! We met the manager, Pramod, he was born in Hong Kong but lived in Denver, Colorado for 10 years. So it was nice to have someone who was so familiar with "the states" (which I've learned is a much cooler/less nerdier way of saying America :P). This bar also played country music..and call me maybe, so obviously we felt right at home! bahah, there were also a bunch of out-of-towners at the bar downstairs; Americans, Irish, English, etc. It's a pretty diverse group! They also had some familiar beers which was a nice change!

My coworkers invited us to Happy Valley (yaaaa there's a happy valley in hong kong..) for the horse races. Apparently they're every Wednesday! We were pretty exhausted and Eric works early so we decided to raincheck for next week :) We ended the night watching the only english movie on TV, "Abducted", with Taylor Lautner..uhhh. it sucked. But I guess it was entertaining because it was so bad? Who knows. Tomorrow is going to be another busy day, but it's a great night to go downtown to central or LKF so maybe we'll head there!
