1st day of work :)

Eric and I had our first day of work today! I got picked up by a coworker so that I could get some help carrying my iMac, Eric took the MTR.

It's been a looooong, crazy day! Still at work and it's 6:30pm here..and it doesn't look like I'll be heading home any time soon...

Went and got lunch today and it's safe to say I realize why everyone is so fit here. The portions are super small...I went to Subway and first of all, they have NO CHEESE. WHAT?! Not to mention I got veggies on my footlong, asked for olives..and (not exaggerating) they gave me 4!! FOUR!! This is crazy! haha, it is very fun though :) Everyone is so busy and everyone has a place to be. So difficult to find a bench just to sit and hang out on. But I really like it! It's so exciting.

I ventured out a little further today when my coworker and I had to get my work visa stuff figured out. Geez this place is beautiful. Topical trees mixed with huge high rises..this seriously is the concrete jungle!

As for the phone situation, it is seriously impossible to get one here! UGH. No wonder they're so cheap because the work you have to do to get a contract is insane. We're hoping that the security at the wireless provider approves our phones by tomorrow though :) cross your fingers!

Jet lag is slowly setting in..it's been starting around 5pm the past 2 days, and it's been a STRUGGLE. Getting dizzy at work and the only advice I get is: "You should have a beer" ;) I got to meet quite a few cool people today; our distributers in India, our distributers in Australia, our distributers in South Africa,  a rep from Disney, and a rep from Justice. Eric and I got invited to dinner with the distributers from Australia..they were the ones that told me I need a beer..so we'll see how this goes!

I didn't take any pictures today, but hopefully I'll take some at dinner tonight. We'll see how long Eric and I last before we need to go home to bed! :) Love you all and I'll try and post later!
